Hello! I'm Sarah, a growth and partnerships leader bridging art, technology, and finance in New York City.
I've spent my career at marketplaces bringing traditionally opaque markets online. I'm drawn to small teams and moments of change, when a company or a function is still taking shape, and I've often found myself as the first person in a role.
I currently lead growth strategy at Willow Wealth (formerly Yieldstreet), a curated platform for private market investing. Before that, I spent nearly four years at Art Blocks, a marketplace for generative art on the blockchain. I joined to build partnerships from the ground up, and the role grew to include launch strategy and pricing. Along the way, I worked with institutions including Pace, Christie's, LACMA, and MoMA and represented the company on panels across the US and Europe. My path into tech began at Artsy, the online marketplace for fine art.
I see translation as the thread through all of my work. I've helped galleries move onto digital platforms, brought new technology to cultural institutions, and now help investors make sense of private markets. I do my best work where cultural fluency and operational rigor meet.
Training as an art historian taught me to look closely and to ask where value really comes from, and that habit has shaped how I approach every market since. Before moving into technology, I worked at Christie's, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the L.C. Bates Museum. I hold a BA in Art History and Italian Studies from Colby College, where I graduated with distinction in Art History. I also studied at Sotheby's Institute of Art and hold the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Certificate.
I serve on the Associate Board of Publicolor, which helps students facing significant challenges reach academic and career success. I'm also a member of ArtTable, which advances the leadership of women and nonbinary professionals in the visual arts.
